Counter-Strike Source - Tips and Tricks For New Players
First off, it has to be understood that in Counter-Strike: Source (CS), there are several different map types. These Kinds are: Bomb Map (p) The Terrorist goal in a bomb map is to conduct to a particular location (marked on your map) and plant an explosive. The explosive is on a timer, so when it's implanted, you must defend it till detonation. The counter-terrorist aim on bomb maps would be to prevent the terrorists from planting the bomb in any respect costs.
This may be done by removing all of the terrorists, defusing the implanted bomb, or (in some instances) defending the bomb website until time runs out. Hostage Rescue (cs) In hostage rescue maps, the primary goal for counter-terrorists is to save hostages held and captured by the Terrorists. You can also win by removing the terrorist team. The Terrorist aim is to simply prevent the counter-terrorists from rescuing the hostages by eliminating them, or keeping control of the hostages until time runs out. Bomb Maps - Counter-Terrorist Defusing the bomb makes you a sitting duck, which is a situation that you need to avoid. Maintaining the terrorists seeking to plant the bomb means you get to stay on the defensive, which gives you a benefit. Bomb Maps - Terrorist As a terrorist, your only aim is to fully overrun a bomb website.
If you can not take charge of a bomb site over the first 30 seconds, your staff will likely lose the round. The best strategy is to rush everyone on a team except for 3 or 2 (shirts) to a single site. Another few players will act as a diversion at another site, therefore the counter-terrorists guarding it do not come in as re-enforcements. I have discovered the ideal strategy to be dispersing the team out and attacking from all angles.
Coordinate a simultaneous attack if possible, but be sure no one only "runs in, guns blazing," because that procedure almost guarantees death in a hostage map. If one side of this assault manages to punch through and get inside the area beneath Terrorist control, the rest of the group should move to this area in order to help the attack. Hostage Maps - Counter-Terrorist As a terrorist, your only strategy here should be to sit and wait patiently. Your goal is to allow them to come to you. Generic Tricks Fake Reload Shoot around from your pistol at the Start of the match.
When you believe (or hear) an enemy nearby, switch to a pistol, press, and immediately switch back to your main rifle. Most enemies will jump out and attack when they hear the reload sound because they believe you are defenseless. Strafe-shooting This is now a staple of counter-strike within the past decades, but some players do not really understand it.
If you are in a firefight in scope, you can strafe-shoot to maintain accuracy but still make yourself a challenging target. The way strafe-shooting is completed is by simply pressing (or tapping) that the strafe key to receiving your player moving and releasing it as you begin to fire.
Your player will continue to proceed with another measure, however, your shots will be true. The AWP No-Scope A lot of people have had problems with this, and it's really so simple. A No-Scope shot is when you take at an opponent with a sniper rifle with no range. For all sniper rifles, the cross-hairs have been removed when you are not using the extent, and the firearms are incredibly inaccurate. This has been done intentionally to force individuals to utilize the scopes on sniper rifles.
The issue with the extent is the fact that it is tricky to produce short-range shots, along with your player moves very slowly while searching through it, so you become an easy target. The solution to this is your No-Scope shot. The No-Scope is done simply by pressing on the left and right mouse buttons at the same time while your intended goal is as near the middle of your aiming point as possible (you have to estimate this). The scope will pop up for a little portion of a moment, and your shot will probably be true. read here
